Adult Recess

Coed Slowpitch Softball & Kickball League

Divisions:

  • Kickball/Softball – Your team plays 1 game of softball and 1 game of kickball weekly
  • Kickball Only – Your team plays 2 weekly games of kickball
  • Softball Only – Your team plays 2 weekly games of slowpitch

Location: Ballparks National, 480 Kissick Way, Macks Creek, MO 65786 (10 minutes west on 54 of the Camdenton Square
Day of the Week: Wednesdays
Number of Weeks: 12 weeks (includes 2 weeks of playoffs), 20 Games + Playoffs
First Game Night: March 17, 2021
Game Times: 6:15pm, 7:15pm, 8:15pm & 9:15pm (We will schedule your team’s games as a doubleheader whenever possible.)
Cost: $250/team
Prize: Winners get the fee back plus league champion shirts

Kickball Rules

  • No throwing the ball above the shoulder at the runner.
  • No bunting.
  • WAKA kickball rules apply – Learn more.
    • 10 fielders.
    • 7 innings (if time allows).
    • “Bouncies” are allowed but it must bounce at least twice before home-plate.
    • Strikezone is 1 ft on all sides of the home-plate (and above)
    • You can throw a runner out, but no headshots.
    • One base on an overthrow.
    • Forced outs.
    • No ghost men.
  • The team must have 4 women minimum playing at all times.
  • Must be 18 years old to play.
  • Rules subject to change at any time by Ballparks National staff.

Slowpitch Softball Rules

  • The team must have 4 women minimum playing at all times.
  • Must be 18 years old to play.
  • Men must use wooden bats. All fields are 200 ft. to the corners and 230 ft. to the center.
  • Game balls must be ASA 52/300 12″ softballs.
  • Teams must provide game balls.
  • USSSA slowpitch rules apply.
  • Mercy rule: +20 after 3 innings, +15 after 4, +10 after 5
  • Rules subject to change at any time by Ballparks National staff.

Facility Rules

  • No outside food, coolers, and drinks
  • No outside adult beverages allowed
  • No smoking, no vaping, no tobacco (except in designated area in the parking lot)
  • No pets (except service animals)
  • No seeds or gum
  • No metal spikes
  • Always set an example of sportsmanship

Leave the cooler at home because we will have cheap adult beverages, sports drinks, dinner specials, and snacks.
